It’s only natural that the lead singer’s name has something bee-related…

“Hi! I’m Eva, lead singer of Honeytones. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. First with my parents, then in local theatre productions, and as I got older I started taking this passion more seriously and got my degree at Grossmont college in music. That’s where I got to meet my fellow honeytones and the greatest band of all time was formed. As a vocalist, I strongly love jazz and soul, and those genres continue to inspire me. A few of the biggest artists who have influenced and inspired me are Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, and SZA.

The most important part about being an artist is having passion, enjoying what you’re doing, constantly striving to learn more, and being the best you can be. Honeytones was formed from a group of pals from Grossmont College just getting together, playing good music, and having fun. I love being a part of this group. These people inspire me and push me to become a better musician, and with all our power combined who knows what we are capable of. Honeytones forever!”
